George Everest Mussoorie Uttarakhand
George Everest Mussoorie Uttarakhand was named after the Colonel Sir George Everest who was a British surveyor and geographer and had filled in as the Surveyor General of India from 1830 to 1843. He is best known for having Mount Everest, the highest mountain on planet Earth, named in his respect.
In the wake of accepting a military training, Everest joined the East India Company and came to India when he was 16 years old. George Everest is around 7 kms from Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. So as to climb up to the George Everest peak, we completed a small trek of about half a kilometre and it took us around 35 minutes to achieve the pinnacle which is at at an altitude of around 6600 ft (2012 m) above sea level.
I should state, the view it offered was dazzling. We were excited and it didn’t prevented us from regarding the grandness of the nature, magnificence of the rich green mountains and valley, the clouds floating beneath us and the big blue sky above us.

The trek to the George Everest Mussoorie Uttarakhand was genuine fun however, it took us just 35 minutes to reach to the top, in any case, that memory will keep going forever.

This was the second time I went to Mussoorie Uttarakhand and I was still longing for more. Since we had invested less time there unfortunately, I was not able explore the nearby places.
